Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Q6 Academy's website at q6academy.com, our learning platform, and any related products or services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is provided by Q6 Academy ("we", "us", or "our"), based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at support@q6academy.com.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create and hold an account. A parent or guardian may enrol a child and book classes on the child's behalf; in that case the parent or guardian holds the account, agrees to these Terms for the child, and is responsible for the child's use of the Service.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared.
3. The Service
Q6 Academy provides online Quran tuition, including live one-to-one and group classes, scheduling and booking tools, learning materials, messaging with teachers, and progress tracking. Live classes are delivered through a third-party video provider. The specific features, number of classes, and benefits available to you depend on the course or membership you purchase.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when feasible.
4. Pricing and payment
Pricing for memberships and courses is shown at the point of enrolment. Payments are processed by our payment provider. Memberships are billed on a recurring basis and renew automatically until cancelled. One-time courses are charged once at the time of enrolment.
You authorise us and our payment provider to charge your selected payment method for all fees, applicable taxes, and any other charges associated with your account.
5. Refunds and cancellation
All sales are final and we do not offer refunds. You may cancel a recurring membership at any time from your billing settings; cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds and cancellation are governed in full by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
6. Classes, scheduling and attendance
Classes are reserved for you at the times you book. Rescheduling, cancellation, make-up classes, and attendance are subject to the rules of your course or membership, which may include notice periods and limits on missed or late-cancelled classes. Repeated missed or late-cancelled classes may affect your enrolment as described in those rules.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- Treat teachers, staff, and other students with respect at all times
- Use the Service and its learning materials only for your own (or your child's) personal, non-commercial learning
- Keep your account private and not share access with others
You agree not to:
- Record, copy, redistribute, sell, or publish classes or learning materials without our prior written permission
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Harass, abuse, or harm any teacher, student, or staff member
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it
We may suspend or remove access for conduct that breaches these Terms or compromises the safety of our community.
8. Intellectual property
All content, learning materials, and resources provided through the Service are owned by Q6 Academy or our licensors (including our teachers) and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use these materials for your own personal learning in accordance with the course or membership you purchased.
You retain ownership of any work you submit (such as homework or recitations); by submitting it, you allow us and your teacher to use it as needed to provide feedback and deliver the Service.
9. Termination
You may cancel your membership or close your account at any time by following the cancellation flow inside the Service. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or to protect our community. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
10. Warranties and disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except as required by applicable law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Q6 Academy's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the liability. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
